Welcome to YEA!
In August of 1998, an idea to help one classroom teacher exploded into an international educational program. YEA! is a worldwide network designed to assist teachers in educating their students on the subjects of free enterprsie, business, leadership, and economics. Since inducting it's first member in 1998, YEA! has expanded membership to over 1300 chapters in all 50 states and 20 foreign countries, allowing us to reach more than 25,000 students around the world.YEA! offers the leaders of tomorrow an advantageous head start towards success by helping them understand the ever-changing world and global economy today. In addition to its impressive growth rate, YEA! has received recognition from many publications. Rieva Lesonsky of Entrepreneur described YEA! as an educational program that was part of the "wave of the future" in economics education. YEA! has also been mentioned in leading educational publications and major news outlets including the New York Times.
YEA! was created and is maintained by the members of the Drury University Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team. Drury SIFE was founded in 1997 with the purpose of creating economic opportunity through educational outreach programs that strive to further communities both economically and socially by helping people achieve their dreams through the principles of free enterprise.
